My school email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I check this email frequently, and can usually respond fairly quickly. This is my preferred method of contact. If you do not hear back from me within one work day, please try again.
You may follow my professional account on Twitter. I will be using this feed for automated calendar updates, class assignments, interesting resources, etc. Simply click @MrCelini, and click "Follow" on the next screen (you will need to have a Twitter account to follow me). I will not follow you back with this account.
I do not have a direct line at North, but you may call my cell phone using the gadget below. If you "Call Me" below, you will be prompted to enter YOUR name and phone number (the information is not stored). The gadget will then call me from your phone. Google Voice is the technology that powers this free service.
If you would like to meet with me face to face, we can certainly arrange a time to do so. I need to arrange all parent meetings ahead of time and to inform security of your visit, so please contact me to set up a meeting.
My C & P is period 5 (10:45-11:30); I am also available after school (until 3 on most days). If these times do not work for you, please contact me using one of the methods above and we will attempt to set up an alternate time to meet.
I teach to learn. It is my sincere belief that learning is a lifetime activity, and, as such, I strive to push my students beyond "the test" and "the test score." I want my students to become stronger learners, not just better test-takers. I hope to inspire them to find what I've found in my journey: learning is a wonderful thing, and should never be taken for granted. A shift in perspective can be a powerful thing...
The Power of Technology
I also believe in the power of technology to unlock new learning potentials. I am an active member of the CCSD Technology Committee and a newly certified Google Education Trainer. I aim to infuse technology into my students' educational experience as often as possible.
